It's Snowing in Las Vegas

Level 17

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

Action was picked up post-draw in a single-raised pot between Kyle Loman from the hijack and Walter Chambers from the small blind.

Chambers led for 18,000 before Loman cut out a raise to 43,000, leaving himself just 20,000 behind. Chambers would think it over for around a minute before shaking his head and mucking. Loman picked up his cards and windmilled 777 into the middle as his bluff got through.

Leah Sweats Out a Double With Krela

Level 17

Badeucy

Mike Leah had his last 35,000 in the middle after the first draw and was up against Jonathan Krela. Both players drew two on the second draw, while Leah stood pat and Krela drew two more on the last.

Leah turned over 106542, while Krela had 7543 showing as he prepared to turn over his last card. Leah ran around the table and peeled it for him, and it turned out to be the Q. Leah's 10-6 and three-card Badugi were enough for him to scoop the pot and earn a double up.

Jack Enough for Glendinning Multiway

Level 17

2-7 Triple Draw

Nadim Medlege raised under the gun and was called by Jonathan Glendinning in the hijack, Timothy Knauf on the button, and Michael Spegal in the big blind.

"Fair fight," was announced as all players took two. Medlege led from under the gun and everybody called.

Medlege was taking one now while the others took two. This time, the action checked to Glendinning in the hijack who bet. Knauf folded the button before Spegal and Medlege called.

Spegal took two, Medlege took one, and Glendinning was pat. The action checked through.

Spegal showed a Qx, Medlege mucked, and Glendinning tabled Jx8x5x3x2x as he held on with a jack to collect a huge pot.

Kim, Van Alstyne Fall on the Bubble

Level 17

Limit Omaha

Dennis Kim moved all in from under the gun as both Pawel Andrzejewski and Christopher Vitch called.

Vitch then bet on the 1052 flop. "We have to wait for the other tables, anyways, so I'm going to take my time," Andrzejewski said, taking several minutes before he raised all in. Vitch called.

Dennis Kim: AKQ7 All in
Pawel Andrzejewski: A1097 All in
Christopher Vitch: AQ109

Vitch and Andrzejewski had the same pair of tens with an ace-kicker, and the rest of the board ran out J2 to send Kim to the rail,

At another table, James Van Alstyne was all in for 110,000 in a hand of Pot-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw and up against Stephen O'Dwyer. Odwyer drew one on the second draw and Van Alstyne stood pat, while both players stood pat on the last draw.

O'Dwyer showed 7x6x4x3x2x and Van Alstyne argued that there was another draw as his 8-6 went into the muck.

The remaining 90 players are now in the money.

Jacewiczokelly Draws Well

Level 17

Badeucey

Action was picked up after the second draw in a hand between Kevin Xu from the hijack and Scott Jacewiczokelly from the button, as well as the big blind.

Xu led and only Jacewiczokelly called. Xu patted on the end and Jacewiczokelly took one.

Xu slipped it over to Jacewiczokelly, who quickly bet and Xu begrudgingly called.

"Eight-seven, eight-seven," announced Jacewiczokelly, as he tabled 87543 which was good for the scoop.

Zack Versus Le Part II

Level 17

Badeucey

Table 652 has been rotating between Badeucey and Badacey, similar games with some rather important subtle differences.

Daniel Zack raised under the gun and Nam Le called from the big blind.

Le check-called a bet after the first draw.

On the second draw, Le took two and Zack stood pat. Zack bet and Le called all in for 7,000.

Le took one and Zack remained pat on the end.

Nam Le: A542 All in
Daniel Zack: 86432

Zack held an eight-low and three-card four. Le thought they were playing Badacey as he made a critical mistake, thinking his aces was low. Le needed to catch a heart to survive with half, but he peeled the Q on his way to the exit.

Rutter Runs Into Krela's Aces

Level 17

Limit Omaha

Stuart Rutter put in his last chips from under the gun, Jonathan Krela reraised in the hijack, and the rest of the table got out of the way.

Stuart Rutter: KQQ5 All in
Jonathan Krela: AA109

Rutter needed help against Krela's aces, but he couldn't connect with the 641066 board as Krela improved to a full house to send him to the rail.

Ben Ludlow and Dario Sammartino were also recently eliminated as the field moves within a few spots of the money.
