Level 10
Kelvin Kerber
Kelvin Kerber

Pot-Limit Omaha

Kelvin Kerber raised to 3,500 in the cutoff, with Suzan Landrum making the only call in the big blind.

Landrum checked the 10810 flop, and Kerber slid out a bet of 3,000. That produced a quick fold from Landrum, and Kerber flipped over 1010 for flopped quads.

"Why'd you bet?" asked Chino Rheem while laughing, and Kerber smiled while raking in another pot.

Some No-Limit Action on Table #73 Sees Arieh Take Two

Level 10

No-Limit Hold'em

Bryce Yockey opened the button to 3,000 and Josh Arieh defended his big blind.

Both the 973 flop and 2 turn checked through.

On the K river, Arieh led for 5,000, Yockey raised to 15,000, and Arieh called.

"Queen high," Yockey announced as Arieh tabled K10 for the winner.

"I could have won the pot at any point by betting, then I put a bunch in on the river," joked Yockey in the post-mortem.

The next hand, Matthew Schreiber opened to 4,000 under the gun and Eric Wasserson called on his left. In the small blind, Arieh squeezed to 16,000. Schreiber folded and Wasserson called.

Arieh led for 10,000 on the 844 flop and Wasserson called.

The K turn checked through to the J river which saw Arieh lead for 35,000, and Wasserson snap-folded.

Rotholz called to the 10 river, where both players checked it down.

"Sixes," announced Moneymaker before Rotholz showed A995 for two pair, queens and nines, to claim the pot.

Gonzalez Overbets then Gets There

Level 10

No-Limit Hold'em

Mike Gorodinsky from the hijack and Fabrizio Gonzalez from the button were tangled in a pot. On the turn with the board reading 8853, Gorodinsky checked to Gonzalez with a little over 20,000 in the middle. Gonzalez then came with a massive overbet of 42,000, and Gorodinsky called after some deliberation.

Gorodinsky checked again on the K river. Gonzalez took some time before he elected to check back.

Mike Gorodinsky: 87
Fabrizio Gonzalez: Q10

Gorodinsky had flopped trip eights but Gonzalez made his flush on the river as some looks of confusion were traded around the table, and Gonzalez remains atop the counts late in the night.
