Kalas Gets Half, Nakai and Kelsall Take a Quarter

Level 8

Omaha Hi-Lo

Andrew Kelsall raised from under the gun, with Ryuta Nakai called on the button. Gabriel Ramos came along in the small blind, as did Kane Kalas in the big blind.

Ramos and Kalas checked the 863 flop, with Kelsall sliding out a bet. Nakai called, as did Ramos and Kalas.

The J turn saw action repeat, with Kelsall's bet called by all three opponents. The dealer flipped over the Q river, with three checks leading to a bet from Nakai.

Ramos folded, while Kalas and Kelsall both called.

Kalas showed Q987 for two pair to claim the high pot. Nakai tabled AK52 for the nut low, while Kelsall showed AJ92 for the same low to take a quarter of the pot.

Maksim Pisarenko was all-in before the first draw from the big blind against Vanessa Selbst in the small blind.

Selbst took two and Pisarenko took one.

Both players took one card on the second and third draws.

Maksim Pisarenko: Jx6x5x2x All in
Vanessa Selbst: 9x5x4x2x

Pisarenko opted to keep his jack as Selbst went first and caught an 8x to make her nine and leave Pisarenko drawing dead as he flipped over an irrelevant 10x on his way to the exit.

Coleman Hunts Value with Eight-Seven-Six

Level 8

2-7 Triple Draw

Fabrizio Gonzalez raised from the cutoff before Maxx Coleman three-bet from the small blind, and Gonzalez called.

Both drew two as Coleman led and Gonzalez called.

Both took one on the second draw and Coleman check-called a bet.

Coleman still needed one on the end as Gonzalez now stood pat. Coleman then led and Gonzalez begrudgingly put in the call after a small tank. Coleman revealed 8x7x6x4x2x which was good as Gonzalez mucked and Coleman collected the pot.

Brad Owen
Brad Owen

Razz

Brad Owen: Kx3x / Ax7x2x All in
Jon Kyte: AxAx / 2x3x3x

Jon Kyte completed first to act and Owen called next to the bring-in.

Kyte led on fourth and Owen called. On fifth, Owen led after Kyte paired, and he had just a single T-100 chip behind.

"I really don't want to call, I have a bad hand," Kyte admitted as he requested that the dealer spread the pot to calculate his odds before he announced, "Okay, raise," and Owen called all-in.

Owen caught a 5x on sixth to make a seven as Kyte caught an 8x. Kyte triple-paired on seventh as Owen secured the double.

Kyte asked why Owen played the hand with the king in the hole to which Owen answered, "I thought you were stealing."

"Stealing!?" Kyte replied, "I was first to act with a seven and four behind me."

Phillips Forces the Fold

Level 8

Limit Hold'em

Tyler Phillips raised in the cutoff, and Aaron Kupin defended his big blind to see the 1092 flop.

Kupin checked to Phillips, who continued with a bet. The call was made, and the 6 turn hit the table. Another check from Kupin was met with a bet from Phillips.

That was enough to take down the pot, as Phillips raked in the chips after Kupin folded.

Just Aces Enough for Mantel to Scoop

Level 8

Stud Hi-Lo

Simeon Tsonev: XxXx / 45Q3 / Xx
Benjamin Miner: XxXx / 359J / Xx
Ariel Mantel: XxXx / 31097 / Xx

Tsonev completed and was called by Miner and Mantel from the bring-in.

Mantel checked to Tsonev on fourth who bet and both opponents called.

Tsonev then showed the highest board as he led on fifth and sixth.

Tsonev then led all-in for his final 3,800 on seventh and both opponents called.

Tsonev had KK8 in the hole for just a pair of kings, Miner showed J62 for a missed low draw and gutter that turned into a pair of jacks, while Mantel revealed AAQ in the hole for just a pair of aces, which somehow was good enough for the scoop multi-way as Tsonev hit the rail and Miner took a hit to his stack.
