Livingston With a Bubble Double

Level 16

Seven Card Stud

Alex Livingston: J7 / A5K All in
Jeremy Ausmus: A9 / J72

Ausmus completed, Livingston raised, and Ausmus called.

Livingston led fourth, Ausmus raised, and Livingston called all-in for 13,000.

On sixth, Ausmus caught the 10 and Livingston paired with the J. Ausmus got the 10 on seventh and was drawing dead as Livingston caught the inconsequential 10 and he secured the double plus antes.

Worse Than Ever? Hellmuth WSOP Entrance Branded 'Cringe' and 'Awkward'

Level 16
Phil Hellmuth
Phil Hellmuth

Phil Hellmuth said months ago he would boycott the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event. Many poker fans on social media, upon seeing video of his grand entrance on Thursday, are probably wishing he'd stuck to his original plan.

The "Poker Brat" traditionally arrives fashionably late for the $10,000 buy-in World Championship event he won in 1989. He showed up about five hours after play began on Day 1b, dressed like a 1980s hair band rockstar, full glam metal hairstyle and all.

Brad Ruben

Omaha Hi-Lo

Brad Ruben raised from under the gun, and Joshua Kay made the call on the button. Ruben led out with a bet on the [3dc5cQd] flop, with Kay calling to see the J turn.

Both players checked through to the 8 river, where Ruben fired again. Kay made the call, and the hands were turned up.

Ruben showed A884 for trip aces with an ace-four low, while Kay could only claim a quarter after tabling AJ64 for the same low.

Tyler Phillips

Seven Card Stud

Tyler Phillips: XxXx / 58A10 / Xx
Daniel Becker: XxXx / 998A / Xx
Qiang Xu: XxXx / 10627 / Xx

Action picked up on fourth as a series of raises resulted in Becker being all-in with an already bloated pot with side action pending.

Xu was the aggressor the whole way, leading on fourth, fifth, and sixth as he was to the left of Becker's paired high board.

On seventh, Xu led for a final time, Phillips raised, and Xu reluctantly called.

"Flush," Phillips announced as he tabled KJ5 in the hole. Becker had already gotten out of his seat once he heard the raise come from Phillips as he showed KJ9 in the hole as he had three nines on fourth but could not fill up. Xu had KK7 in the hole for two pair, as he lost a huge one to Phillips.

Ten Enough as Vieira Finds Some Breathing Room

Level 16

2-7 Triple Draw

Action picked up on the second draw with several bets in the middle already between Joao Vieira from the cutoff and Jeremy Ausmus from the button.

Both players took one and Vieira check-called a bet.

On the final draw, Vieira took one and Ausmus stood pat before the action checked through. Vieira tabled 10x6x4x3x2x for a ten-six which was enough for the win as Ausmus mucked, and Vieira collected some much-needed chips as he would have been quite short had he lost this hand.

Ramos Falls to Wasserson

Level 16

No-Limit Hold'em

Gabriel Ramos was all-in for his final 175,000 from under the gun, at risk against the covering stack of Eric Wasserson in the big blind.

Gabriel Ramos: AQ All in
Eric Wasserson: AK

Ramos was in rough shape against the dominating ace of Wasserson who moved further in front on the K82 flop with top pair and the nut flush draw. Nothing changed on the 72 runout as Ramos made his way to the exit.
