The Oats Tycoon is Rising

Level 20
Brian Tate
Brian Tate

No-Limit Hold'em

Jon Turner raised to 35,000 and Bradley Jansen called in the big blind. They checked to the KJ8Q turn on which Jansen bet 40,000 and won the pot uncontested.

Brian Tate then opened to 40,000 on the button for Turner to come along in the big blind. The flop brought 1053 and Turner check-folded when facing a bet of 45,000.

Eric Wasserson limped in and Tate checked to the K102 flop, on which Wasserson's bet of 16,000 was called. Wasserson checked the 4 turn and folded when Tate bet 55,000.

The game then switched to Seven Card Stud and Turner won some off Jansen with one pair and only one street of action.

While the action carried on without any major drama, Wasserson insisted to refer to Tate as "oats tycoon" as he is once again wearing the oats over night shirt and hat.
