More for Turner

Level 20

Pot-Limit Omaha

Jon Turner opened to 35,000 from under the gun and was called by Kahle Burns on the button and Mike Gorodinsky in the big blind.

On the QQ10 flop, the action checked to Burns who bet 34,000 and only Turner called.

Turner then opted to lead on the A turn for 65,000 and Burns called.

On the 5 river, Turner bet small for 60,000 into a pot of 327,000, and Burns quickly called. Turner tabled AQ84 for a full house as Burns mucked what he said was a straight.

Jeremy Ausmus Eliminated in 8th Place ($39,966)

Level 20
Jeremy Ausmus
Jeremy Ausmus

2-7 Triple Draw

Jeremy Ausmus raised and then called a three-bet by Mike Gorodinsky. Both discarded two and Ausmus check-called a bet. He took another two against the one of Gorodinsky and checked, Gorodinsky bet and took down the pot right there.

No-Limit Hold'em

Ausmus then raised to 32,000 and Kahle Burns in the big blind asked "you started with around two forty?" to which Ausmus nodded. Burns then pushed all-in with the far bigger stack and Ausmus essentially already confirmed he would be calling but was going to wait for a short while in case anyone busts on the other table before calling.

Jeremy Ausmus: QQ All in
Kahle Burns: A5

The A53 flop instantly improved Burns to two pair, and Ausmus failed to connect on the 3 turn and 8 river to bow out in eighth place. All remaining seven players will now redraw to the unofficial final table and move to the left side feature table in the Horseshoe Event Center.

On the 10 turn, Turner checked again to Wasserson who bet and Turner called.

Wasserson fired for a final time on the K river and Turner reluctantly called.

"Royal flush," Wasserson announced as he tabled AQJ7.

"That's good," Turner joked, "I also had a flush."

Ausmus Getting Short

Level 20

2-7 Triple Draw

Thomas Taylor raised from the cutoff and Jeremy Ausmus called in the small blind.

Both took two, Ausmus led, Taylor raised, and Ausmus called.

Ausmus took one while and check-called after Taylor stood pat.

Ausmus took one again on the final draw and check-called another bet as Taylor tabled 8x6x5x4x2x for number eight which was good as he left Ausmus as the shortest stack in the field.
