While a busy day of the 2025 World Series of Poker will be going on around them at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas, four contenders will return to the felt for an addition to the schedule.

Event #83: $2,500 No-Limit Hold'em Freezeout is back for an extra day, as play was halted late Saturday night. Action will resume at 1:00 p.m. local time, where Breno Drumond holds a sizeable lead with more than 40 percent of the chips in play. The large Brazilian rail was out in full force before play was suspended, and they are expected to return hoping to cheer Drumond on to victory.

Sitting in second place is Preston McEwen, the only other player returning with more than 20 big blinds. Next on the leaderboard is PokerGO founder Cary Katz, a high stakes regular who boasts more than $40 million in career earnings.
