Abhishek Paul was all in and at risk preflop for 300,000 with AA and Jaehoon Baek aimed to score the knockout holding 77. There was no upset on the AQ810J runout as Paul doubled with a set of aces.

One table over, Razvan Belea defended against Stefan Lehner out of the big blind and check-raised the Q76 flop from 90,000 to 250,000 for Lehner to call. Belea bet the 6 turn for 325,000 and Lehner folded.

On the same table shortly after, Diego Emperador lost the remainder of his short stack to bring the field down to the last 28 hopefuls.

The raise of Purice to 300,000 left 10,000 chips behind and Justin Zaki called in the next seat. Cary katz then jammed for 755,000 in the small blind for Purice to call all in, Zaki also called with the covering stack.

Kolev Beats Finkelberg; Loses to Ilani

Boris Kolev raised to 80,000 from under the gun and Roberto Finkelberg called in the next seat, the rest of the table folded.

On the AQJ flop and K turn, neither player invested any further chips. Kolev bet the Q river and won the pot.

Ran Ilani then limped the small blind into his big blind and Kolev raised to 135,000, Ilani called.

"Never believe me, eh?" Kolev grinned. They checked down the K8652 board and Ilani won the pot with QJ as Kolev admitted "I had one of those too.”
