Yee Yeeted Before Redraw

Level 33 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Andrew Yee
Andrew Yee

Christoph Milbradt raised to 600,000 in the hijack and called when Andrew Yee made it 2,100,000 to go in the small blind. Yee pushed in his remaining 3,600,000 on the 10QJ flop, which Milbradt snap-called.

Andrew Yee: AQJ10 All in
Christoph Milbradt: 10987

"Aw, you called with that straight?" a disappointed Yee said. "Give me a king," he then requested the dealer.

The deck did not comply, however, as the 6 turn and 7 river completed the board, sending Yee to the rail only a few minutes into Day 3.

Tran Eliminates Roussy-Majeau with a Flopped Straight

Level 33 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Quan Tran opened the action with a raise to 700,000 from early position, and when it folded around to Samuel Roussy-Majeau in the cutoff, he responded with a three-bet to 2,550,000. Tran made the call, and the two went heads-up to a flop of 425.

Tran checked, and Roussy-Majeau fired out a pot-sized bet. That was all the encouragement Tran needed to rip it in, and Roussy-Majeau quickly called.

Samuel Roussy-Majeau: KK9x7All in
Quan Tran: QAJ3

Tran had flopped the wheel, and the 5 turn and\9 river didn’t change a thing. Just like that, Tran raked in the pot while Roussy-Majeau’s run came to an end.

Billy Tarango
Billy Tarango

Billy Tarango raised to 900,000 in middle position, calling when Paulo Drummond put in 3,000,000 from the small blind.

Tarango's remaining 3,550,000 chips were put in on the 9AK flop, and the cards were tabled.

Billy Tarango: AJ53 All in
Paulo Drummond: AKQJ

Drummond had a big lead with top two pair, and made a full house on the A turn to secure the pot. The 3 river was rendered meaningless as Tarango headed to the rail.

Danny Wong
Danny Wong

Callum Gordon open-raised to 675,000 in middle position. Danny Wong called all-in for exactly that on the button, and Lukas Hafner came along in the big blind.

Gordon and Hafner checked through the 6996A board, and a showdown was ordered.

Gordon tabled AK74 for aces and nines, besting the KQQJ of Wong. Hafner's cards were quickly mucked, and Wong headed to the payout desk.

Joseph Brumpacheco Eliminated in 24th Place ($13,440)

Level 33 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Joseph Brumpacheco
Joseph Brumpacheco

William Titcomb pushed in 600,000 chips for a raise in the hijack. Joseph Brumpacheco three-bet the pot to 2,250,000 in the cutoff, which Titcomb called once it had folded back to him.

Titcomb led all in on the AJ5 flop, and Brumpacheco immediately called off for 1,000,000, putting himself at risk of elimination.

Joseph Brumpacheco: QQJ9 All in
William Titcomb: A822

Titcomb had flopped best with top pair. The 10 turn gave Brumpacheco straight opportunities, but the 7 river helped neither player, seeing Titcomb win the pot and eliminate his neighbor.

David Munce
David Munce

Action folded around to William Titcomb on the button, and he potted it to 1,050,000. David Munce responded from the small blind with a pot-raise to 3,450,000. Titcomb wasn’t done yet and came back with a four-bet, prompting Munce to shove and get called.

David Munce: AA64All in
William Titcomb: AQ99

Munce was in great shape with aces, and the 4105 flop kept him well ahead. But the turn brought the 9, giving Titcomb a set of nines and flipping the script. The 6 river changed nothing, and just like that, Munce’s tournament run came to an end.

Samuel Klintmalm raised the pot to 1,400,000 on the button, and called when Wish made it 4,600,000 to go in the small blind.

Wish moved all in on the 1025 flop, and Klintmalm called off his last 1,500,000 or so.

Samuel Klintmalm: AQ65 All in
Gregory Wish: AKJJ

Wish's jacks were in the lead, and remained so on the 3 turn. The K river upgraded him to a pair of kings, which won him the pot and sent Klintmalm home.

After losing a big pot the hand before, Lawrence Brandt raised the pot under the gun. Action folded to Callum Gordon in the small blind, who raised the pot, putting both players behind him at risk, as he had them covered. Gregory Wish in the big blind then went all in, and so did Brandt, leading to a three-way showdown.

Gregory Wish: AK92All in

Callum Gordon: AA67

The board ran out QA95J, giving Brandt the straight and almost a full triple-up, as Wish had a bit less, and Wish was sent to the rail.
