Qiang Xu was the first to act and opened to 60,000. Amir Mirrasouli called from the hijack before Faraz Jaka raised it to 125,000 from the cutoff. Xu chose to respond with an all-in for 220,000, which led to a fold from Mirrasouli before Jaka called off to put Xu at risk.

Xu was way ahead with his pocket aces versus the pocket eights of Jaka and the runout did not offer a sweat as it came K♦3♠Q♠6♠9♣ to award Xu the double and dent Jaka's stack back down below a million.

Genov Quadruples Up, Kabrhel Eliminated

Table 65 saw four players put their stacks in the middle, and only one was eliminated.

Dani Genov's short stack of 70,000 was in from early position, while Martin Kabrhel shoved in the hijack. Dan Stavila was also all in from the cutoff, as was Daniel Lakerveld in the small blind.

Genov hit the only pair on the 3♦7♦A♦ flop, but Stavila remained ahead through the 3♥ turn with his pocket jacks. Genov then spiked the 7♣ river, making a full house to stay alive.

Stavila's jacks held for the side pots, sending Kabrhel out and stacking new chips from Lakerveld.
