All three players checked on the 9♣Q♠7♥ flop. Maue checked again on the 8♣ turn, prompting Fritz to put out a bet of 425,000. Soverel folded, but Maue called.
The dealer then provided the 5♦ river, which Maue checked again. Fritz put out another bet of 900,000, which put Maue into the blender. After taking some time to rethink the action, Maue decided to make the call.
Fritz tabled A♠10♠ for just ace-high, and Maue showed A♣A♥, earning him the pot.
