Reard Asks For All of It

Level 26 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Alexandre Reard
Alexandre Reard

Alexandre Reard raised to 800,000 from the cutoff, and only Jun Obara made the call, defending his big blind.

The dealer fanned out a 77Q flop, on which Obara chose to check-raise, from Reard's 500,000, to 1,250,000. Reard called, and the two took a turn.

The J turn joined the board, and Obara continued for 2,150,000. Again, Reard called, making the pot a substantial one.

The river added the 4 to the board, and Obara hit the brakes, choosing to check.

Reard responded by moving all in for 7,400,000. Obara snap-folded, much to the delight of the Reard's rail, who burst out cheers of support.
