Koon Calls Out Kulev's Hand, Calls, and Busts

Action picked up on the turn with the board reading 962J in a hand between Alex Kulev from middle position and Jason Koon in the cutoff with around 190,000 in the middle already.

Kulev checked to Koon who bet 65,000 before Kulev jammed for 575,000 effective as the slightly covering stack.

"You have kings, don't you?" Koon lamented as he put in the call for his tournament life.

Peters Cannot Fold Out Hamada

Action was picked up on the river in a massive pot between David Peters in the hijack and Shoichiro Hamada in the big blind.

Hamada checked over to Peters on the board reading 98AAK and Peters bet 358,000 of his total stack of 359,000. Hamada went into the tank and burned two time extensions, eventually deciding to call.

Peters turned over 108 for a missed straight draw, which was no good against Hamada's A3 for three aces.

"Wow you had to earn that one," tablemate Phong Turbo Nguyen said.

After being left with one chip, Peters was eliminated shortly after.

On the 6 river, Ustimov checked for a final time to Shakerchi who bet 106,000. Ustimov responded with a check-jam for 285,000 effective as the covering stack. Shakerchi would burn through a time bank, a rare sight, before he flicked in the call. He got the bad news as Ustimov tabled Q6 for trip sixes, and Shakerchi mucked his hand on his way the exit, wishing his opponents good luck along the way.

Shylko Gives Scheinberg Respect

Brock Wilson opened from under the gun and was three-bet to 50,000 by Aliaksandr Shylko in the small blind. Isai Scheinberg called cold from the big blind and Wilson got out of the way.

Shylko continued for 26,000 on the AJ4 flop and Scheinberg raised to 75,000. Shylko quickly laid his hand down and Scheinberg collected the pot.

Shylko was left with just over 100,000 following the hand and was seen exiting his seat shortly after, having been eliminated.

Morris Bluffs it Off Against Mustafov

Fahredin Mustafov opened to 16,000 from early position and was called by Christopher Puetz from directly behind. Arthur Morris then squeezed to 85,000 from the big blind, which got a call from Mustafov and a fold from Puetz.

Mustafov proceeded to call bets from Morris on every street. First for 75,000 on the J95 flop, then for 175,000 on the 2 turn, and lastly for Morris's remaining stack on the 6 river.

Morris revealed AK for just ace-king high and Mustafov tabled 99 for a set to send Morris to the rail.
