Love on the Line: Zukowicz vs. Hrabec

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Monika Zukowicz
Monika Zukowicz

It folded to Monika Zukowicz who raised on the button to 6,000 and got called by Roman Hrabec in the small blind and Fabian Niederreiter in the big blind.

The flop came A10A, and action checked to Zukowicz, who continued for 6,000. Only Hrabec called, while Niederreiter stepped aside from the couple’s battle.

The turn was the 5 and this time Hrabec check-folded after Zukowicz sent 15,500 in the middle.

"Yes!" said Zukowicz victoriously as she raked in the pot. "I can bust from the event now," she added jokingly.

Some players at the table teased Hrabec, who's engaged to Zukowicz: "That was the right thing to do—you don’t want to sleep on the couch tonight!"

"True," Zukowicz replied with a laugh.

Volpe Has It

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Cody Bartlett checked the flop of A58 with a pot of around 20,000 from the small blind. Paul Volpe in the big blind fired 6,000 which Bartlett called.

The same thing happened when Bartlett check-called Volpe's bet of 18,000 on the 3 turn. After the action was checked back to him on the river A, Volpe fired 31,000 which was enough to make Bartlett fold. He showed A6 to prove he had it.

Michl Wins at Showdown

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Joris Michl started the action by raising to 6,000, which was called by David Moses next to him and Yasheel Doddanavar in the big blind.

The flop went 9A8, and it checked to Moses, who bet 5,000. Doddanavar and Michl called, and the trio checked on the 7 turn.

Shyamchandar Srinivasan: AQAll in

The flop of 432 gave Srinivasan additional outs, and when the 2 dropped on the turn, he was drawing to an ace or five to stay alive. The ace on the river came for Srinivasan, and he was pushed the pot for a full double-up and more.
