Kevin Rand opened to 17,000 from under the gun and got a three-bet from Joao Biancolini in cutoff to 42,000. Rand called to see a flop.
The flop came 8♥J♣5♣. Rand check-raised Biancolini's bet of 18,000 to 48,000. Biancolini hung on with a call. The turn 3♣ fell and after a check, Biancolini bet 40,000 which was enough to make Rand fold.
Nenad Medic open jammed all in for his last 137,000 from early position and was called by James Mackey in middle position.
Nenad Medic: J♥J♦
James Mackey: A♦K♠
An ace in the window for Mackey on the A♥5♦8♥ flop, and Medic was on life support. The 3♣ didn't help him, and when the K♣ dropped on the river, Medic flat-lined and was sent packing.
Kyle Ho opened to 17,000 in late position and got a caller in the big blind, Lan Gu, to see a flop.
The dealer unfurled A♠9♠J♦ and Lan Gu check-called Ho's bet of 12,000. On the turn 6♣ the same thing happened, with Gu checking, Ho fired 50,000, which was enough to make Gu fold his hand.
Action was picked up with Andrius Tapinas all-in for 165,000 against Richard Kirsch in a pot of around 60,000 and a flop of 3♠5♦4♥.
Richard Kirsch: 7♠6♠
Andrius Tapinas: 7♦7♣
Tapinas had a pocket pair while Kirsch flopped a straight. The runout 4♣9♥ didn't help Tapinas improve his hand. Kirsche doubled up and continued his tournament run.
The board already showed A♦8♥5♦Q♥ in a heads-up pot when Michael Noori checked from the big blind to Tauan Naves who sent 75,000 in the middle. Noori tanked for a minute and called.
When the 6♥ landed on the river, Noori bet 125,000. Naves didn't take long to fold.
Filipp Khavin raised to 16,000 from middle position and was called Fausto Valdez, who was next to act. Action folded around to Daniel Charlton in the big blind, who moved all in for 145,000.
Filipp Khavin also moved all in for less than Charlton and Valdez snap called.
Filipp Khavin: J♣J♥
Daniel Charlton: Q♥K♦
Fausto Valdez: K♥K♠
The board of 7♣2♠2♣8♥6♥ ran out cleanly for Valdez, and with his trap, he sent both Khavin and Charlton to the cage.
Davidi Kitai limped in early position and Gary Hasson also called on the button, followed by Isabella Lemoscosta and Matan Mesika in the blinds.
The flop went 6♠3♦4♥ and it checked to Kitai who bet 12,000. This time only Hasson and Lemoscosta called.
On the 3♥ turn, Kitai sent 36,000 in the middle after it was checked to him and both Hasson and Lemoscosta tanked for some time before making the call once more.
A K♥ hit the river and Lemoscosta checked again. Kitai bet 28,000 and Hasson pushed for 107,000. Lemoscosta let it go and Kitai went deep into the tank.
The clock was called and Kitai eventually called at the end of the countdown, but only to see 7♥5♥ in Hasson's hand, who flopped a straight and rivered a flush. Kitai sent Q♥Q♣ into the muck.
In a heads-up raised pot, the flop read 4♣7♦Q♠ when Alex Keating checked from the big blind to Alfonso Timoteo who bet 13,000. Keating thought about his move and raised it to 50,000. Timoteo didn't take long to fold.
