Action folded to Ping Lin on the button, who raised to 12,000 and found a call from Robert Ashelm in the big blind.
Both players checked the 4♣9♣10♠ flop and the K♣ peeled off on the turn. Ashelm checked, and Lin bet out for 15,000, which Ashelm called, and the players then both knuckled the table when the 2♠ arrived as the river card.
Ashelm tabled J♣9♦ for third pair, which was good as Lin mucked his cards.
Tristan Wade in the hijack jammed for 50,000 and was called by Pablo Melogno in the small blind.

Wade flopped a pair on 7♦4♠9♦, but Melogno hit a better pair with the K♣2♠ runout to eliminate Wade.
Cedric Schwaederle started the action with 12,000 on the button, and Benoit Fiasson in the big blind called.
The flop came 9♥10♥7♣ and Fiasson check-raised to 68,000 after Schwaederle bet 20,000. Schwaederle stayed on.
The turn K♥ was checked by both players, leading them to the final street, where Fiasson shoved all-in for 249,000 on the river 7♠.
Covered, Schwaederle called. Fiasson showed 9♦9♠ for a full house. Schwaederle showed 6♠7♥ for rivered trips.
"Yes !" said Eduardo Mendoza in middle position after he doubled his 158,000-chip stack against Maxime Dube in early position.

Joseph Cheong started the action with a 13,000 bet in cutoff and got called by Ognyan Dimov in the small blind.
The flop came 8♣10♠9♦. Dimov check-called Cheong's 20,000 bet. After another check on the K♠ turn, Cheong put in 50,000 which was enough to make Dimov fold.
Thomas Lee raised to 12,000 from middle position, and action folded to Joe McKeehen in late position, who three-bet to 28,000. Lee contemplated for a while and then moved his remaining stack into the middle. McKeehen snap called and had Lee well covered.

No danger for McKeehen on the 9♦Q♥2♥ flop, but the K♣ on the turn gave Lee additional outs. The 2♠ brick on the river wasn't one of them, and he was sent to the rail whilst McKeehen pulled in the pot.
Paul Volpe raised under the gun to 12,000 and Davis Harari decided to three-bet in the cutoff to 36,000. It folded to Tony Miles in the big blind who tanked a minute and four-bet to 85,000. Volpe and Harrari opted to fold.
