Moulder Back Above Starting Stack

Level 10 : Limits 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Patrick Moulder raised in the hijack, with Ben Yu calling on the button and Richie Allen doing so in the small blind. James Davis then bumped it up with a three-bet in the big blind, which all players called.

Davis' bet on the 579 flop was also called by every player involved, while his bet on the 4 turn only folded out Allen.

Davis completed his triple barrel on the Q river, again seeing Moulder and Yu call. Davis opened AAJ2 for a pair of aces and the nut low, but would only receive a quarter of the pot as Yu played the same low with AQ62 and Moulder had a better high with K632 for a straight.

James Obst

James Obst raised from the hijack, and Scott Seiver three-bet in the cutoff. Yuval Bronshtein then called on the button before Obst went all in for 10,000 total. Seiver and Bronshtein tossed in the extra T-1,000 chip required for a call.

Seiver bet the 335 flop, seeing Bronshtein call. The 10 turn was then checked by the defending champion before he called Bronshtein's bet. Bronshtein also bet the Q river, but this time Seiver check-folded.

Bronshtein opened AJ83 for trop threes, and Obst cards were only shown briefly before he exited the tournament area.

Brooks Among Leaders

Level 10 : Limits 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Micah Brooks raised in middle position, and received three callers. Bari Sklar in the cutoff, Alex Livingston on the button, and Dylan Lambe in the big blind all came along to the 523 flop, where Brooks placed a continuation-bet.

Sklar and Lambe came along to the 8 turn, while Livingston was the only player who folded. Lambe checked over to Brooks again, who fired once more. Sklar still called before Lambe added his cards to the muck.

Sklar called one more time on the 8 river, but Brooks had bet the wheel with A542, and raked in the entire pot when Sklar smiled as he added his cards to the muck.
