Chio Chips Back Up

Level 6 : Limits 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

Four-way to the A7A flop, it checked to Daniel Chio in the cutoff, who made a bet. Ryan Bambrick and Brian Rast called in the blinds, and Dragana Mackelprang stuck around as well, calling in early position.

The 4 turn saw Rast lead out after Bambrick had checked. Again, all players opted to stick around as they called to the 7 river.

Bambrick checked for a third time, after which Rast tossed in another bet. Mackelprang quickly mucked her cards in response before the other two players flicked in calls.

Rast tabled 7632 for trip sevens and the nut low, with Bambrick's 10532 claiming a quarter of the pot with the same low. Meanwhile, Chio's AKKJ for trip aces was good for the high half.

Saliba Takes From Mizrachi as Vaughn First to Depart

Level 5 : Limits 1,200/2,400, 0 ante
Justin Saliba
Justin Saliba

Justin Saliba raised preflop, and Robert Mizrachi three-bet. It folded back to Saliba, who called to the 85Q flop, where he check-called Mizrachi's continuation-bet.

The players followed the same recipe on the 8 turn before they both checked the 10 river.

Saliba tabled AKKQ for kings and eights, and won the pot when Mizrachi mucked his cards.

During the hand, Jeffrey Vaughn's agonizing yells of defeat could be heard across the Paris tournament area as he was the first player to leave the tournament empty-handed.
