Brown Loses Two to Bust

Level 17 : Limits 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Andrew Brown lost a significant pot to Robert Mizrachi when the latter's pocket kings were good for a scoop in a raised pot.

Left with only 30,000 chips, he got them in preflop the very next hand and went to a flop four ways.

The dealer presented the 10610 and the three live players tapped the table.

The 9 peeled and all players checked again.

The river came the 7 and Remshardt placed a bet, causing Vieira and Spear to fold.

Remshardt tabled AJ82 for a straight, which was good enough to win both pots, as Brown sent his hand into the muck and went to pay outs.

Shack-Harris Hits the Rail

Level 17 : Limits 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Brandon Shack-Harris raised all in for his last 30,000 with Matthew Beinner, and George Alexander making the call.

After the dealer spread out the flop of 2510, Beinner check-folded to Alexander's bet.

Brandon Shack-Harris: A872 All in
George Alexander: A1032

Alexander was in the lead with two pair and the better low draw. The rest of the board ran out 92, which improved Alexander to boat, sending Shack-Harris to the payout desk in 33rd place.

Kerbel Wins Without Showing

Level 16 : Limits 12,000/24,000, 0 ante
Jay Kerbel
Jay Kerbel

Jay Kerbel raised from under the gun with Matthew Valeo calling from the button, and Marco Johnson defending his big blind.

Johnson checked the 984 flop and Kerbel bet. Valeo called, but Johnson folded.

Kerbel bet again when the Q landed on the turn. Valeo called to see the A roll off on the river. Kerbel check, and Valeo bet. After a few moments, Kerbel called, and Valeo mucked his hand. This meant Kerbel pulled in the pot without having to show.

At another table, Andres Korn was seen exiting the tournament, and now everyone is just two places away from the money.

Worst River in the Deck for Lamb

Level 16 : Limits 12,000/24,000, 0 ante
Brandon Shack-Harris
Brandon Shack-Harris

Ben Lamb raised from middle position with Brandon Shack-Harris calling on the button, and Matthew Beinner defending his big blind.

After Beinner checked the 943 flop, Lamb bet, and only Shack-Harris called with just 1,000 behind.

Lamb bet the A turn, and Shack-Harris called for his last chip.

Brandon Shack-Harris: A722 All in
Ben Lamb: AK85

Shack-Harris had a seven-four low, and Lamb had aces with a king-kicker for the high. However, the river was the 5, which meant Shack-Harris improved to a wheel to scoop and double-up.

Alexander's Aces Are Good

Level 16 : Limits 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Brandon Shack-Harris kicked off the action with a raise and George Alexander put in a third bet preflop. Shack-Harris called.

The flop fanned out K76 and Shack-Harris check-called a bet, bringing the 9.

Shack-Harris check-called another street and the 10 completed the board.

Both players checked and Shack-Harris declared ace-nine as his high hand but quickly mucked, lamenting a potential mistake, as Alexander tabled AAK3. Aces were good for the scoop.

Owen Hits the Rail

Level 16 : Limits 12,000/24,000, 0 ante
Brad Owen
Brad Owen

After getting quartered in the previous hand, Brad Owen got the last of his chips into the middle from the small blind, and Daniel Spear tried to bust him from the big blind.

Brad Owen: K722 All in
Daniel Spear: AKQJ

The flop came A94 to put Spear in the lead with top pair. The 9 on the turn meant Owen needed a deuce on the river to scoop, or a low card to chop the pot. However, the river was the K, and Owen was out of the tournament.
