Early Day Action

Negreanu entered Day 3 as the chip leader and maintained his position near the top of the leaderboard throughout the early stages, as several notable 25K Fantasy players, including David "Bakes" Baker, Eric Wasserson, Aaron Kupin, Thomas Taylor, and Allan Le, were eliminated.

With 11 players remaining, Negreanu faced his first real setback of the day when his aces were cracked by Hunter McClelland, who turned a flush to double through him and knock Negreanu down the leaderboard.

Soon after, Joao Vieira, another 25K Fantasy League draftee, was eliminated in 11th place, followed immediately by Matthew Beinner, setting up the final table of nine players.
