He’ll be looking to sift through a star-studded field, including multiple bracelet winners Daniel Negreanu (1,550,000), Ben Lamb (740,000) and Joao Vieira (840,000).

Well into the day, with only 34 players left, Nadya Magnus proved to be the bubble when a brutal river ended her tournament early. Some players who made the money but didn’t make it to Day 3 include Brandon Shack-Harris, Julien Martini, Andrew Brown, and Jeremy Ausmus.
Play will resume at 1 p.m. local, Las Vegas time at Horseshoe Main Event Center. Bets will be 25,000/50,000 to start the day. The plan is to play as many hour-long levels as needed until just 5 players remain. Stay tuned to PokerNews for all your 2025 World Series of Poker action from the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas.

Cards are in the air, and play has started.
David "Bakes" Baker, who bagged the shortest stack on Day 2, got his last 80,000 in the middle preflop. Daniel Spear and Ryan Bambrick went to heads up to a side.
Both players checked on 5♦A♣5♠, bringing the 3♥.
Bambrick placed a bet when checked to and Spear released his hand.
David "Bakes" Baker: Q♠Q♦8♥2♠
Ryan Bambrick: Q♥Q♣4♣2♦
Bambrick's wheel made it so that only a five could award a quart of the pot but it wasn't meant to be when the 10♣ fell.

Four players saw the dealer spread out a flop of A♠J♣8♥. After two checks, Alexander bet from the cutoff before Viktor Blom raised from the button. Only Alexander called.
The turn came the Q♦ and Alexander check-called a bet from Blom.
When the river fell the 5♥, Alexander check-called Blom's bet one last time. Blom flipped over J♦J♥3♠2♥ for a set of jacks, and the nut low, scooping the pot.

Allan Le raised from under the gun, before Thomas Taylor in the cutoff put in a three-bet. It folded to the small blind Matthew Valeo who called, as did Le once it folded back to him.
After the 2♠9♣3♥ flop, Valeo decided to lead out for a bet, which both Le and Taylor called.
The turn brought the 9♥ and once Valeo bet, Le called and Taylor mucked.
After the 6♦ on the river, Le again called a bet from Valeo.
Valeo tabled A♣Q♦Q♣4♦ for two pair nines and queens, to take the high, and both players chopped the low once Le turned over A♥Q♥10♠4♣ as both players had ace-four for the low, leaving Le quartered.

Allan Le opened the button, Matthew Beinner called from the small blind and Thomas Taylor called in the big.
The wheel spun Q♠8♣6♥ and Le bet when it was checked to him. Only Beinner called.
Beinner took the initiative when the 8♠ turned and Le made the call.
The river peeled the Q♥ and Beinner check-called a bet from Le, who tabled A♠Q♦5♦4♥ for trip queens and Beinner flashed the 8♥ for trip eights before mucking the rest of his hand.
