Robert Mizrachi Aiming for Bracelet Number Six
After 15 levels of action on Day 1, only 103 players remain from the original 1,384 entries in Event #91: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha 6-Handed at the World Series of Poker (WSOP). Day 2 is set to resume at 12 p.m. local time at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas.
The event amassed an impressive $1,837,260 prize pool, with the winner set to claim $280,214 and the coveted WSOP gold bracelet. All 103 remaining players are guaranteed a minimum payout of $3,225.
Nacho Barbero ended Day 1 as the chip leader after registering later in the day and he bagged 1,382,000 to top the field at the end of the night. Although Barbero leads the pack heading into Day 2, Narcis-Gabriel Nedelcu (1,290,000), Cameron Bramwell (1,088,000), and Paul Gunness (1,040,000) are not far behind.

Among the notable stacks heading into Day 2 are five time WSOP champion Robert Mizrachi with 249,000, closely followed by ten time WSOP bracelet winner Erik Seidel, who bagged 242,000. David Coleman, who is no stranger to winning poker tournaments, comes into today with a respectable stack of 221,000. Behind Coleman is online crusher Joshua Mccully who will return with 101,000, and the legend Jason Somerville navigates Day 2 with 55,000.
Daniel Negreanu, Martin Kabrhel, and Bryce Yockey were all eliminated during the final level of Day 1, bringing their runs in this event to an end just short of Day 2.
Play will resume at 12 p.m. local time today, July 11, with plans to play ten levels. The day will kick off at Level 16 with blinds at 3,000/6,000 and a big blind ante of 6,000, featuring 60-minute levels and breaks every two levels throughout the day. Those who make it through ten levels today will return for Day 3, where the field will battle it out until a winner is crowned.
