Blockers Not Enough

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Jianqiang Yu limped in from under the gun. Shrey Maheshwary and Jose Nadal did the same from the cutoff and button, respectively. Andrew Ostapchenko checked his option.

Four players saw a flop of 59J which checked over to Jose Nadal. He opted to bet out for 75,000, and only Ostapchenko got rid of his cards. The 3 turn checked through, bringing in the K river. Yu checked, Maheshwary bet out for 200,000, and Nadal folded. Yu clearly had a tough decision, but he eventually landed on a call.

Maheshwary showed Q1053 for the nut straight, and Yu showed QxQx for two blockers to said straight.

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Shrey Maheshwary opened the betting with a raise to 75,000 under the gun. Both Jose Nadal and Jianqiang Yu put in the call as they went off to a AKJ flop. Here, Yu checked, Maheshwary bet 60,000, and both other players called.

Level 23 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Jose Nadal checked the A9Q flop in the big blind, and Jianqiang Yu slid out a bet of 50,000 in the cutoff. Nadal made the call, and the K turn hit the felt. Another check from Nadal was followed by a bet of 75,000 from Yu.
