White Takes one Down

Level 20 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Jake White limped in from the cutoff, allowing Alfred Karlsson to pot it to 72,000 from the button. Big stack Paul Gunness came along from the big blind, and White made the call also.

The 3J5 flop checked through, bringing in the 3 turn. Here, White bet out for 110,000 when checked to, which was enough to get folds from both of the other players in the pot.

Nacho Barbero opened up the action with a raise to 50,000 from the hijack. Thomas Mosier flatted in the cutoff, before button player Yueqi Zhu potted to 230,000, not leaving much behind. Barbero got out of the way, and Mosier shoved. Zhu snap-called.

Thomas Mosier: AA104

The 9A5 flop all but sealed it for Mosier. The board ran out 38 and Zhu left the tournament area.

Cheeky Ruhl

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

There were roughly 220,000 chips in the pot on Q7A4, and Darryll Fish in the big blind bet 155,000 on the turn, Kurtis Ruhl called in the small blind.

The 8 river is where all the drama kicked-off as Fish bet 335,000, and Ruhl went deep into the tank. He decided to put Fish all in for his remaining 555,000 chips.

Action was on Fish for around six minutes before he eventually folded. Ruhl asked the table "do you want to see it?", and he flicked over his cards with a cheeky grin, and they showed 7664 for a stone bluff. Fish said "good job, buddy".
