Boulton Takes Chip Lead
Level 31
: Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
As he has been doing for some time, Rob Wazwaz pushed the play in a hand against Joshua Boulton.
Wazwaz started with a raise to 400,000 preflop. He bet 500,000 on the flop of 4♦6♠J♥. After the players checked the turn of the 5♦, he put another 750,000 chips into play when 10♥ came on the river.
Boulton was with him, calling all the way, until he fired a check-raise to 2,100,000 on the river.
Wazwaz pondered the call for about a minute, then chose to do so.
Boulton showed J♣10♣, top two pair, to claim the hand and the tournament's chip lead.
