Day 2 Completed
Play has ended on Day 2 of Event #92: $1,979 Poker Hall of Fame Bounty No-Limit Hold'em at the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP), without a winner being determined.
As was the case a year ago, the tournament has been extended to a third day, following a grueling 12-hour session that began with two unfinished levels from the Day 1 schedule. The final table at the Horseshoe and Paris, Las Vegas is down to just five players, vying for the winner’s cut of $311,349 from a prize pool of $2,206,585.
Rob Wazwaz was the man on this day, finishing with 11,825,000 chips to lead the pack. He is just ahead of Joshua Boulton, who doubled his stack in an hour and a half of play at the final table.
| Rank | Player | Country | Chips | Big Blinds |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Rob Wazwaz | United States | 11,825,000 | 47 |
| 2 | Joshua Boulton | United Kingdom | 10,375,000 | 42 |

| 4 | David Dibernardi | United States | 3,525,000 | 14 |
| 5 | Jimmy Kebe | France | 3,200,000 | 14 |
Wazwaz, who didn’t even crack the top 50 at the end of play on Day 1, took control just after the three-table redraw, hitting an ace on the river to eliminate two players.
He then held the chip lead for more than five hours, until Boulton made top two pair on the river to take a nice chunk of Wazwaz’s chips and the momentary top spot late in the day.
Noam Muallem knocked John Juanda out in the first hand of the afternoon, in a wild four-way all-in.
Only three of the 16 Hall of Famers who entered the event bagged on Day 1 and Tom McEvoy had the honor of being the last Hall of Famer standing. He left to a round of applause from his table-mates. He finished 81st, earning $4,463.

As he has been doing for some time, Rob Wazwaz pushed the play in a hand against Joshua Boulton.
Wazwaz started with a raise to 400,000 preflop. He bet 500,000 on the flop of 4♦6♠J♥. After the players checked the turn of the 5♦, he put another 750,000 chips into play when 10♥ came on the river.
Boulton was with him, calling all the way, until he fired a check-raise to 2,100,000 on the river.
Wazwaz pondered the call for about a minute, then chose to do so.
Boulton showed J♣10♣, top two pair, to claim the hand and the tournament's chip lead.

Joshua Boulton raised from the small blind to 400,000 only for Laksh Singh in the big blind to three-bet to 1,200,000. Boulton countered and moved all in, and Singh snap called.
Laksh Singh: 9♠9♣
Joshua Boulton: J♣J♦
Singh was in trouble, and the 2♠8♣6♥ flop gave him no help at all, and when the J♠ peeled off on the turn, he was drawing dead. The 2♣ that came on the river was irrelevant, and Singh was sent to the rail in 6th place.

Action folded to Rob Wazwaz, who made up from the small blind, and Chen-An Lin checked his option from the big blind.
The flop came Q♦5♦J♣ and Wazwaz led out for 250,000, which Lin flat-called and the players saw the 10♦ peel off on the turn.
Wazwaz went for the kill and moved all in, and he had Lin covered. Lin went deep into the tank for 4-5 minutes before he stood up and made the call.
Chen-An Lin: Q♠4♣
Rob Wazwaz: Q♣10♣
Wazwaz had Lin drawing dead, and the deal was sealed when the 3♦ came on the river and Lin was sent packing in 8th spot.
