Wazwaz Plays it Safe with Nut Flush

Level 27 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Rob Wazwaz raised to 175,000 from the button and was called by Matthew Davenport in the big blind.

Both players checked the 2104 flop and saw the 7 drop on the turn. Davenport now bet out for 210,000, and Wazwaz called. The river brought the 10, and Davenport continued the aggression and bet out for 425,000.

Wazwaz called instantly and Davenport tabled KK for the second nut flush, "No good" exclaimed Wazwaz as he turned over his A9 for the nut flush and was pushed the healthy pot.

Ricardo Martinez Eliminated in 18th Place ($10,675)

Level 27 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Ricardo Martinez
Ricardo Martinez

Michael Bernstein raised from the cutoff to 160,000 and action folded to Ricardo Martinez in the small blind who three-bet all in for 1,125,000.

This sent Bernstein deep into the tank for 3-4 minutes, and the clock was called. With under ten seconds remaining, he announced a call and pushed the chips forward.

Ricardo Martinez: 22All in
Michael Bernstein: AJ

Not the door card Martinez wanted to see on the A8Q flop, and he was looking to hit a deuce to stay alive. It didn't come with the J turn, and when the 9 peeled off on the river, it was curtains for Martinez, and he was sent to the rail in 18th spot.

Is There an All-in Without a Button?

Level 27 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

In the first hand after returning from dinner, Laksh Singh raised to 160,000 from middle position. When the action folded to Jimmy Kébé on the button, he pushed all in for just over a million chips.

While players were considering a call, the dealer mentioned that he didn't have an all-in button.

"If I knew we didn't have a button I would not have gone all-in," Kébé joked. “Floor!”

Everyone folded.
