Omaha Hi-Lo

Brendan Taylor raised from the cutoff and Allen Kessler defended his big blind.

Kessler check-called a bet from Taylor on the 772 flop and then check-raised a bet from Taylor on the A turn. Taylor called.

The Q completed the board and Taylor called a bet from Kessler, who tabled J765 for trip sevens with a low. Taylor sent his hand into the muck and Kessler added to his stack.

"That's a good hand in Omaha Eight, right? It's double suited," Kessler said. "I got the most value possible in that hand."

Level 7
Michael Rocco
Michael Rocco

2-7 Triple Draw

Zach Laxen put in a blind raise before the cards were dealt from under the gun, and Michael Rocco put in a three-bet from the cutoff once seeing his cards. Richard Bai in the small blind, Laura Born in the big blind, and Laxen under the gun, all made the call.

Bai drew two, Born drew one, Laxen drew two, and Rocco drew one. Bai then checked and Born bet. Laxen and Rocco called, before Bai raised, and Laxen three-bet. Rocco went for a four-bet and the table all called.

On the second draw, Bai drew one, Born stood pat, while Laxen and Rocco both drew one. Bai checked, Born bet, and all three players called the bet.

After the final draw, Bai again checked to Born, who bet once more. Laxen folded, and Rocco put in a raise. Bai folded and Born quickly made the call.

Rocco tabled 75432 for a wheel, as Born tossed #2 76432 in the muck.

Shortly after the hand, Laxen was eliminated.
