The dealer then burned and produced the K♠ river, and Wantman checked for a third time. Peretz chose to bet this time, doing so for 5,500. This saw the button player fold, but Wantman opted to check-raise to 24,500.
Peretz took a minute, but chose to call, receiving bad news when Wantman turned over K♣4♣ for a rivered two pair. Peretz didn't show his hand, returning it to the dealer face down.
