Alt Takes Small Pot from Livschitz

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Dinesh Alt raised to 800 from the cutoff and was called in only one spot by Victoria Livschitz in the big blind.

Both players opted to check the 5Q3 flop, and the 5 turn.

Livschitz bet 1,200 on the 4 river, which was called by Alt. This prompted Livschitz to muck her cards without showing. Alt thus dragged the pot without having to show as he continued to chip up in the early stages of the tournament.

Sokolovsky Applies Pressure

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Clemen Deng raised under the gun to 700, and only Alexander Sokolovsky called, defending his big blind.

When Sokolovsky checked on the JJQ flop, Deng continued for 500. Sokolovsky then put in a check-raise to 2,200, which Deng called.

The turn added the 7 to the board, and Sokolovsky continued with a bet of 7,500. This was enough to force Deng out of the pot, as he returned his cards to the dealer.
