Dong Chen began the action with a raise to 1,000 from the hijack and was called by Adrien Favre-Felix in the cutoff. Rogen Chhabra asked for more as he raised to 4,500 from the button. Chen folded, but Favre-Felix chose to call to create a heads-up pot.

Both players checked the 10♠9♥4♠ flop, which brought about the 10♣ turn. Favre-Felix chose to bet 5,000 and Chhabra responded with a call.

The 10♥ river put three tens on the board. Favre-Felix chose to bet smaller, to the tune of 3,000. Chhabra wasted no time making the call to send them to a showdown.

Favre-Felix showed 5♥5♣ for a full house, but Chhabra's boat was better as he revealed the Q♠Q♦.

The flop came 10♣8♦4♣ and action checked around to Foxen who bet 1,600. Only Lin called.

Both players checked the Q♥ turn leading to the J♠ river. Lin bet 3,900 and Foxen raised to 11,000. Lin folded after about 30 seconds of contemplation and Foxen took the pot.

Krasimir Yankov and Akihiro Konishi had built a pot worth 8,000, and were looking at a 4♣Q♦5♦8♠ board.

Akihiro Konishi, in the small blind, checked over to Yankov, who placed a bet of 5,800. Konishi then responded with a check-raise to 14,500, which Yankov called.

The dealer added the 6♠ to the board, and Konishi placed another bet, this time for 6,800. Yankov took his time considering a response, but elected just to fold.

With three players seeing a board of A♦6♥3♠7♠ and around 25,000 in the middle, Maria Konnikova checked from the small blind and Christopher Chaudey checked from the big blind. John Juanda bet 8,200 from the hijack and only Chaudey called.

Chaudey checked the 7♥ river and Juanda shoved, covering Chaudey who had around 20,000 behind. Chaudey mucked his hand face-up, showing 10♥10♠ before Juanda dragged in the pot.

Elsewhere in the tournament area, defending champion Michael Rocco recently took his seat.

Corrigan gave it some thought, but decided against a call as he folded to award Roberts the flop.
