Ortega Pushes Zhou Out on Turn

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Quan Zhou raised to 45,000 from the cutoff before Gustavo Ortega chose to re-raise to 150,000 from the small blind. Zhou opted to call.

Ortega did not slow down on the 103J flop and bet 105,000. Zhou gave it some thought before he called.

The 9 turn led to Ortega jamming to put Zhou at risk. The all-in bet sent Zhou into the tank for a considerable amount of time before he eventually decided to fold to yield the pot to Ortega.

Kolev Turns Up the Heat

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

David Kaufmann raised from the cutoff to 40,000 and swiftly faced a three-bet from Yuliyan Kolev on the button. Kolev made it 110,000 to play, and only Kaufmann called.

The dealer burned and turned three, revealing the 3910 flop. Kaufmann checked in flow, and Kolev continued for 80,000.

Kaufmann gave it some thought, but after a minute or so of consideration, opted to fold.

Soverel Pays Off Miegel

Sam Soverel limped in from the small blind and Jakob Miegel raised to 70,000 from the big blind. Soverel three-bet to 265,000 and Miegel called.

Both players checked the 872 flop leading to the J turn. Soverel check-called a 150,000 bet from Miegel.

Miegel bet 450,000 when checked to on the 4 river and Soverel called again. Miegel showed a set with 88 and Soverel's hand hit the muck.

The 10 turn did not change the rankings of the hand, and the 7 river completed the board to award Matusow the double-up.

Miegel Leaves Adeniya With Crumbs

With two players seeing a board of K26910 and a bit under 500,000 in the middle, Martins Adeniya bet 275,000 from the big blind, leaving just 15,000 behind. Jakob Miegel called from the hijack.

Adeniya had 63 for fourth pair while Miegel had top pair with AK to take the pot. Adeniya was left with one small blind and busted shortly after.

Maue Bets Big on River

Valentino Konakchiev opened the action with a raise to 35,000 from the button. Leonard Maue popped it to 150,000 from the big blind and was called by Konakchiev to send them to a flop.

Maue bet 85,000 on the J3J flop, and Konakchiev called.

Both players opted to check the 3 turn, which brought about the 4 river.

Maue staged a big bet of 400,000 and put it out toward the middle. The bet sent Konakchiev into the tank. After some time, Konakchiev chose to fold to relinquish the pot to Maue.
