Mike Watson opened from under the gun and Sam Soverel defended from the big blind.

The flop came 4♣J♥5♦ and Soverel check-called a 110,000 bet from Watson.

Soverel checked again on the 6x turn and Watson bet 130,000. Soverel shoved with a covering stack and Watson called, putting himself at risk.

Soverel had turned two pair to crack Watson's aces. The 8♦ river changed nothing for either player and Watson was eliminated in brutal fashion while Soverel recouped most of the chips he had lost during the previous level.

Davide Suriano raised from the cutoff to 500,000, and only Sam Soverel made the call from the button.

The dealer spread a flop of K♥Q♣7♦ and Suriano, who only had 100,000 behind, checked. Soverel checked behind, and they went to a turn.

Suriano then opted for a minimum bet of 80,000 on the 8♠ turn, and Soverel called once again.

The river came the Q♠, and Suriano moved all in for 20,000. Begrudgingly, Soverel called one more time.

Suriano turned over A♣8♦, which was good enough to beat the A♥J♠ that Soverel flipped over.

Daniel Negreanu opened to 160,000 from the button and Sam Soverel shoved from the big blind, covering Negreanu who had roughly 1,800,000 to start the hand. Negreanu called, putting himself at risk.

Negreanu had his opponent pipped and was in great shape to double up until the A♥K♣8♥ flop gave Soverel bottom set, leaving Negreanu drawing to just two outs. Negreanu couldn't make a set of his own on the A♣ turn or 4♠ river and his run came to an end just three spots shy of the unofficial final table.

Both players checked the 2♦8♠9♣ flop leading to the 6♥ turn. Maue bet 300,000 and Soverel called.

Maue continued for 650,000 on the 2♣ river. Soverel contemplated for a couple of minutes before calling again.

Maue could only show J♠7♠ for a missed straight draw, turned into a bluff. Soverel tabled 8♦5♠ for just second pair to win the hand.
