Karlsson Shows Seiver's Hand

Level 19 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Action was picked up on the river, with a board reading 410448. Scott Seiver was in the cutoff, and had bet 200,000 into around 375,000, putting small blind Alfred Karlsson deep in the tank. Seiver was all but all in, with just 10,000 behind, when Karlsson pondered what he could possibly have for value. "Honest answer, nines," replied Seiver.

"That's problematic," responded Karlsson. The clock was called on him, and he ended up sticking it in.

"Nice call," said Seiver, showing that he'd been counterfeit with AJ106. Karlsson showed the hand that Seiver had called out, as his fours full with AK99 left Seiver with crumbs.
