Zachary Reinbold raised the button and Yong Lu three-bet to 330,000 from the big blind. Reinbold called with 145,000 remaining in his stack.
Lu shoved for the rest of Reinbold's stack on the 6♥4♥7♠ flop, and Reinbold happily called.
Zachary Reinbold: A♣Q♣9♠8♠
Yong Lu: A♥Q♥9♣7♥
Lu had a flush draw and a pair of sevens against the straight draw of Reinbold. Reinbold completed his straight on the 5♦ turn, meaning only a heart on the river would end his tournament. The A♦ appeared on the river, and Reinbold doubled up through Lu.
Lu was left with a short stack after this hand has since been eliminated.
Brad Albrinck opened he action under the gun, as he raised to 75,000. Richard Gryko called from the cutoff, before Daniel Fuhs did the same from the big blind. On a flop of 3♦5♦6♠, Fuhs potted to 255,000. Gryko enquired about his stack size and received "255,000 behind" as his answer. Gryko put Fuhs all in, and Fuhs snapped it off.
Daniel Fuhs: J♣6♣6♦5♠
Richard Gryko: A♦K♦K♠5♣
Fuhs' top set couldn't hold, as the 2♦4♥ runout gave his opponent the nut flush, sending him to the rail.
Level: 22
Blinds: 15,000/30,000
Ante: 30,000
Joshua Ladines limped on the button, and Cuba Levenberry did the same from the small blind. Zachary Reinbold then potted it from the big to 100,000, and both other players folded.
Action checked through on the monotone 2♦J♦6♦ flop, and the same action occurred on the 8♣ turn and [the] river. "Tens up" announced Levenberry, as he showed 10♠6♠ followed by 5♣4♣. Both other players mucked.
At the same time on another table, Samuel Burkett was eliminated.
With around 750,000 already in the pot preflop, Jeremy Ausmus and Yasheel Doddanavar saw the dealer produce a flop of 9♣K♦7♣. Ausmus jammed for all of his roughly 600,000 chips, which resulted in Doddanavar snap-folding.
Just before this hand, Alex Foxen was eliminated and is no longer a participant in the tournament.
On a completed board of 3♦5♠10♥J♦Q♥ and with around 500,000 in the middle, Chino Rheem checked from the big blind and Daniel Zack fired 300,000 out of the cutoff.
Rheem let out a long and loud sigh upon seeing Zack's bet. After thinking briefly, Rheem made the call. Zack revealed the nuts with A♥K♥J♥7♥, and Rheem was forced to muck.
Samuel Burkett opened the action from under the gun with a raise to 75,000. Robert Fenner shoved for 185,000 on the button, and Burkett made the call.
Robert Fenner: Q♦Q♠7♠4♥
Samuel Burkett: K♠K♥8♥4♦
Fenner had hopes of a gutshot on the 8♦5♣A♣ flop, but the 9♦3♦ runout sealed his fate, as he exited the tournament area on the second last level of the evening.
On a board of 2♣2♦3♦3♥K♠ with 370,000 in the middle, Brad Albrinck bet out for 275,000 from the big blind, putting hijack Richard Gryko deep into the tank. After some deliberation, He stuck in the call. It took a while for Gryko to muck as Albrinck tabled his cards with some hidden, but his A♥10♠9♥2♠ was enough to rake in the pot.
At the same time on another table, hijack Alan Mehamed bet out for 255,000 into a pot of around 750,000 with a board reading J♣9♥3♦J♥7♠. His opponent Zachary Schwartz on the button didn't take long before folding.
Alan Mehamed made it 60,000 under the gun and only Fabien Motte called from the big blind.
Two checks followed the 6♦J♦10♥ flop to see the 2♥ fall on the turn. Motte checked, and Mehamed bet 50,000. Motte stuck around with a call.
The A♥ dropped on the river, and both players checked. Motte showed K♦Q♦7♠3♣ for a straight, which was good enough to win the pot.
