Zack Chips Back Up

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

In a limped pot preflop, Action went check-check on a flop of 8QA which brought in the 9 turn. Here, Fahredin Mustafov bet out for 350,000 from the small blind, and Daniel Zack stuck in a call from the big.

The K peeled off on the river, and Mustafov threw out a pot-sized bet of 1,300,000, putting Zack in the tank. After some time, he ended up sticking in the call. Mustafov showed K1074 for just a pair of kings, but Zack had the best of it with A1084 for two pair.

The turn came the 4 and this time Ladines opted to check-fold to Gryko's bet of 1,300,000.

Zack Gaining Momentum

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

With around 1,500,000 already in the middle preflop, Daniel Zack and Fahredin Mustafov saw the dealer spread out a flop of Q85. Zack bet 700,000 from the small blind, and Mustafov called.

The 2 fell on the turn and Zack shoved, which prompted Mustafov to fold immediately, and the pot was awarded to Zack.

Zack Storms Into Chip Lead

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Daniel Zack

Joshua Ladines opened up the action with a raise to 550,000 from under the gun. Daniel Zack flatted, from the button, before Jeremy Ausmus potted to 2,300,000 from the big blind. Ladines repotted, enough to put both other players all in. Zack called, but Ausmus did not.

Joshua Ladines: AAQ10

Ladines was ahead, but Zack flopped a whole world of outs on 825 with a gunshot, and any two pair putting him in the lead. Running nines in the form of 99 gave him the stone-cold nuts by the river, as he counted out his stack of 6,520,000 to be doubled.

Daniel Zack made it 500,000 from the hijack before Jeremy Ausmus three-bet to 1,700,000 from the button. Zachary Schwartz potted it from the big blind, which got Zack to fold. Ausmus called for his 2,500,000 total, and the cards were tabled.

Zachary Schwartz: AA64

Ausmus had kings against the aces of Schwartz. The runout of 9Q4J8 didn't improve Ausmus enough to win, and he headed to the cashier's desk to collect his sixth-place payout.

Michael Mizrachi

No waiting until the voting process takes place next June. Put him in now.

That's what Phil Hellmuth and Daniel Negreanu say about getting Michael Mizrachi, who could be less than 24 hours away from winning the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event, into the Poker Hall of Fame.

Hellmuth, who feuded with Nick Palma during a WSOP event over an unrelated issue Tuesday night, shared a video on X with his buddy Negreanu discussing "The Grinder's" Hall of Fame credentials.
