Zack Gets the Clock Called on Him

Level 31 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Daniel Zack completed from the small blind and Richard Gryko checked out of the big blind.

Zack check-called a bet of 250,000 from Gryko on the AA9 flop.

The turn came the 10 and Zack check-called another bet from Gryko, this time for 650,000.

Zack checked for the last time on the K river, and Gryko fired out 1,500,000. Zack went into the tank for multiple minutes before eventually getting the clock called on him. In the end, when the timer ticked down to two seconds, Zack tossed his cards into the muck.

Freeroll then Freerolled

Level 31 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Joshua Ladines
Joshua Ladines

Zachary Schwartz opened to 750,000 under the gun, before Joshua Ladines repotted to 2,375,000 from the big blind. Schwartz shoved and Ladines snapped.

Zachary Schwartz: KK75

The 9A4 gave both players backdoor draws, with the 4 turn only bringing in Ladines', as he freerolled his opponent. However, the Q river brought no blood, and the two chopped the pot.

The very next hand, Richard Gryko opened to 650,000, and Ladines three-bet potted yet again, this time for slightly less, as the value was 2,200,000. Gryko made the call, then snap-called a shove on the 96Q flop.

Richard Gryko: KJ107

Both players had the same wrap, and Ladines was in the lead with ace-high but Gryko's seven meant that an eight would award him the full pot. The 10 turn gave both players the nut straight, and the freeroll began. The Q river meant that for a second time, Ladines would chop for his tournament life.

Level 31 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Fahredin Mustafov
Fahredin Mustafov

Daniel Zack raised to 650,000 from the hijack and Fahredin Mustafov potted it to 2,075,000 from the big blind. Zack made the call to see a flop.

Mustafov jammed for 3,550,000 upon seeing the 6Q10 flop, and after pondering for a while, Zack made the call with the covering stack.

Daniel Zack: 8765

Mustafov needed to win this hand to stay in contention for his first WSOP bracelet. The 5 turn gave Zack two pair, but Mustafov a flush. Zack couldn't fill up on the 4 river, and almost half of his stack was sent to Mustafov.

Ladines Cracks Top Set to Double

Level 31 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Joshua Ladines opened the action from the cutoff, as he potted it to 875,000. Fahredin Mustafov then repotted from the small blind to 2,875,000, and Ladines, after some consideration, elected to just call. He left 1,025,000 behind. On the 9K6 flop Mustafov shoved and Ladines snapped.

Ladines needed to hit his gutshot or a club to survive, and the A turn offered him no help, but the 4 river gave him the nuts, as yet another short-stack doubled up. "Chip dumping," joked Mustafov pointing around the table, in reference to the lack of knockouts in the past hour.

Zack Wins Some Back from Mustafov

Level 31 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Daniel Zack
Daniel Zack

Fahredin Mustafov made it 650,000 from the small blind, and Daniel Zack defended his big blind.

Mustafov bet 400,000 on the KQQ flop, which Zack called.

The J fell on the turn, and Mustafov knuckled the action to Zack. Zack fired 600,000, and Mustafov stuck around with a call.

The 4 appeared on the river, causing Mustafov to check. Zack bet 1,500,000, and it was Mustafov's turn to go into the tank. After around ninety seconds, Mustafov flicked his cards into the muck and forfeited the pot to Zack.

Schwartz Doesn't Slow Down

Level 31 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Fahredin Mustafov opened to 650,000 under the gun, and only Zachary Schwartz made the call, as he defended his big blind. He then checked the K66 flop, allowing Mustafov to bet out for 325,000. He wouldn't see a turn for that price, however, as Schwartz made a check-raise to 900,000, which Mustafov called.

Schwartz continued for 1,300,000 on the 10 turn, and yet again Mustafov made the call. Schwartz then shoved the 8 river, forcing Mustafov out of the pot.

Mustafov Doubles Again Through Zack

Level 31 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

When it folded to Fahredin Mustafov in the small blind, he raised to 750,000, and Daniel Zack defended out of the big blind.

The two players saw the flop come down A5Q. Mustafov jammed for about 2,000,000, and Zack made the call.

Thr K turn and K river improved Mustafov to a full house, and he doubled up again through Zack.

Fahredin Mustafov opened up the action with a button raise to 625,000, and Richard Gryko defended his big blind. Both players checked on a flop of 79J which brought in the 7 on the turn. Here, Gryko led out for 700,000, and Mustafov put in the call.

Gryko then checked the Q river, prompting Mustafov to slide 1,800,000 in the middle. Gryko put him all in for just over 5,000,000, and Mustafov couldn't have called quicker, as he showed KJ97 for a full house. However, Gryko had rivered the best of it with QQ109 to rake in a huge pot, and bring the table down to just four.
