Motte Slightly Frustrated

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Fabien Motte raised it to 210,000 under the gun with Cuba Levenberry and Zachary Schwartz calling from the blinds.

When the flop of 7QQ came down, Levenberry led out for 400,000. This got a quick fold from Schwartz, but Motte paused briefly before frustratingly flicking his cards into the muck.

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Fahredin Mustafov opened to 150,000 from the cutoff and received calls from Daniel Zack in the small blind and Jeremy Ausmus in the big blind.

All three players checked the 2Q7 flop leading to the J turn. Zack bet 325,000, Ausmus folded and Mustafov called. The two remaining players then checked the 2 river.

Zack showed AQ87 for two pair, queens and sevens to take the pot.

Zarvan Tumboli limped in from the small blind, and Hai Chu checked his option from the big. The two went off to a flop of J22, and Tumboli checked it over. Chu bet 75,000 before Tumboli put in a check-raise to 225,000. Chu made the call, bringing the two to the 8 turn.

Here, Tumboli checked again, and Chu bet again, this time for 250,000. Tumboli check-raised again, this time announcing "pot," which was enough to put Chu all in. After a few seconds, Chu mucked.

Cuba Levenberry limped from under the gun and Fabien Motte followed with a call from the cutoff. Hai Chu completed from the small blind, and Joshua Ladines checked his option from the big blind.

Four players saw the flop come down 1047. Chu was the first to act and led out for 250,000. Ladines and Levenberry folded, but Motte made the call.

Chu jammed for his last 475,000 upon seeing the Q appear on the turn. Motte reluctantly called, and the cards were tabled.

Fabien Motte: 9986

Chu had a set against the wrap of Motte. The dealer burned a card, then delivered the 8 on the river to improve Motte to a straight, and eliminate Chu in 12th place.

Spade on the River Ends History-Maker Margets’ WSOP Main Event Dreams

Level 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Leo Margets
Leo Margets

It’s been a historic run for Leo Margets in this year’s WSOP Main Event, but unfortunately for the Spaniard and her loyal legion of supporters, that run has now come to an end.

Across nine days of play at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas, Margets became the first woman in three decades to reach the final table of poker’s world championship, earning her place in the history books with a headline-grabbing run on the game’s biggest stage.

However, her tournament came to a close in 7th place for $1,500,000 after a brutal river card in a key pot against Kenny Hallaert ended her bid for the title.

Ausmus Shoves on Zack

Level 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Fahredin Mustafov limped in from the cutoff, and Daniel Zack did the same from the small blind. Jeremy Ausmus checked his action in the big, bringing the three to a flop of 46K Action checked through, prompting Zack to then bet out for 160,000 on the 6 turn. Only Ausmus called, and the two saw the A peel off on the river.

Zack continued for 450,000, and Ausmus went into the tank, considering his options. After some time, he went all in for around 950,000. Zack had been caught with his hand in the cookie jar, and laid his cards down.
