Level 40 : Blinds 800,000/1,600,000, 1,600,000 ante
Lukas Zaskodny
Lukas Zaskodny

Lukas Zaskodny raised to 3,200,000 from early position, and Dylan Lambe decided to call from the big blind.

For the first time in almost 30 minutes, the dealer spread out a flop of 6Q2. Lambe knuckled the action over to Zaskodny, and Zaskodny fired a continuation-bet of 2,500,000. Lambe paused briefly before folding and relinquishing the pot to Zaskodny.

Action Slows Down

Level 40 : Blinds 800,000/1,600,000, 1,600,000 ante

With the pay jumps becoming more and more significant, the action has slowed to a crawl.

The action just folded to Thang Tran in the small blind, who took one look at his cards before giving his neighbour, Adrian Tivadar, a rare walk in the big blind.

A relieved Tivadar thanked Tran for his mercy before returning his cards to the dealer.

Lambe Picks Up the Blinds

Level 40 : Blinds 800,000/1,600,000, 1,600,000 ante

Dylan Lambe min-raised to 3,200,000 under the gun and got a few quick folds before Adrian Tivadar went into the tank from the hijack. After pondering for a while, Tivadar thought better of it and folded. The rest of the table folded quickly, and Lambe picked up the blinds.

Thang Tran raised to 2,400,000 under the gun and Lok Chan three-bet to 6,600,000 from the hijack. Tran called when the action got back to him.

The dealer spread out the flop of 557 and Tran led out for 4,400,000. Chan paused for a few moments, then made the call.

Both players checked the Q turn to see the 10 fall on the river. Tran checked, and then Chan fired out a bet of 16,800,000. Tran quickly folded and surrendered the pot to Chan.

When action folded to Tawei Tou in the cutoff, he moved all in for 9,900,000. Only Richard Ali made the call from the small blind.

Tawei Tou: 99 All in
Richard Ali: AK

Tou was ahead preflop, but Ali took a near-unassailable lead on the AKK flop.

The turn 4 confirmed Tou's elimination in ninth place, before the dealer had even laid out the 7 river.

Zaskodny Sevens Stand Firm

Level 39 : Blinds 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante

Lukas Zaskodny open-shoved for 9,200,000 in hijack, and got called by Tawei Tou in the big blind.

Lukas Zaskodny: 77 All in
Tawei Tou: AK

Tou needed his overcards to hit the board for a chance to eliminate Zaskodny but the board ran 10Q9106. Zaskodny sevens held, securing him a much-needed double up.

Robert Nemeskeri-Kiss Eliminated in 10th Place ($51,246)

Level 39 : Blinds 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante
Robert Nemeskeri-Kiss
Robert Nemeskeri-Kiss

When it folded to Robert Nemeskeri-Kiss on the button, he jammed for 7,400,000, and Dylan Lambe made the call from the big blind.

Robert Nemeskeri-Kiss: K6 All in
Dylan Lambe: K10

Nemeskeri-Kiss was unfortunate to be dominated by Lambe as the two headed to the J510 flop, which gave Lambe a pair of tens. The 2 turn meant Nemeskeri-Kiss was drawing dead, as the irrelevant 10 appeared on the river.

The pot was sent to Lambe, and Nemeskeri-Kiss was the first elimination at the final table.
