Jeffrey Tanouye raised to 120,000 in early position, and was met by a three-bet to 330,000 by Shijia Liu on the button. Action returned to Tanouye, who put in a four-bet to 600,000, which Liu called.
Both players checked on the 10♣Q♥6♣ flop, and Tanouye checked for a second time on the 9♥ turn. This prompted Liu to take over the betting lead, putting out a wager of 375,000.
This was enough to lay claim to the pot, as Tanouye returned his cards to the dealer.
With around 350,000 in the pot already, Ciaran Duffy jammed for 370,000 on the flop of K♣6♣5♣ from the big blind. Ido Aboudi, who was seated in the cutoff, went into the tank for quite some time. In the end, he made the call to put Duffy at risk.
Ciaran Duffy: 3♣2♣
Ido Aboudi: A♠4♣
Aboudi was against the flopped flush of Duffy, but could hit a club to send Duffy to the rail. The rest of the board came K♦Q♠, and Duffy doubled up.
Action was picked up with Jeffrey Tanouye and Fabrice Maltez in an all-in showdown.
Fabrice Maltez: A♦K♠
Jeffrey Tanouye: 10♦10♥
Tanouye was ahead when the flop came 6♠3♦J♦. But the turn K♣ shifted the lead to Maltez, who pumped his fist in the air as soon as he saw the card. The river 7♣ didn't improve Tanouye further, giving the pot to Maltez for a double up.
Guilherme Pretto raised to 160,000 from the hijack, and Peter Csampai moved all in for 3,000,000 with the shorter stacks behind him. Pretto did beat him into the pot with his call for 1,800,000.
Guilherme Pretto: A♣K♥
Peter Csampai: A♥K♦
The board did not produce any flushes with 2♠Q♠3♦10♥10♣, and the pot was split.
Csampai stated, "I thought I was dead, you beat me into the pot."
