No Chop for Lyons as Magsakay Doubles

Pat Lyons opened to 410,000 from the cutoff and Vamerdino Magsakay three-bet to 825,000 from the big blind, leaving 620,000 behind. Lyons called.

The flop came 2♦7♠5♦. Magsakay shoved and Lyons called with a covering stack to put him at risk.

Both players had king-jack high but Magsakay was freerolling with the flush draw to go with it. The flush came in on the 9♦ turn and Magsakay doubled up after the 4♣ river.

The action folded around to Fabrizio Gonzalez in the small blind who min-raised to 240,000. Joseph Sabe three-bet to 650,000 in the big blind and Gonzalez stuck in a four-bet to 1,065,000. Sabe five-bet shoved all in and Gonzalez called off his stack of 1,850,000.

The flop came A♠A♦10♥ and Sabe flopped trip aces to take a huge lead. The 6♥ and Q♠ runout was no help to Gonzalez who was bounced from the tournament.

"The lion's here! Rawwrrr!" Sabe shouted as he clapped his hands.

"Security!" someone from the other table yelled.

Brandon Wilson shipped all in from early position for 1,150,000 and Yuzhu Wang also went all in for slightly less with 1,105,000 on his left. The rest of the table folded and the cards were tabled.

The flop came A♥2♠Q♣ and action checked around to Rash who bet 200,000. Skerl folded before Piekazewicz check-raised to 450,000. Rash called.

The two remaining players checked the 4♠ turn leading to the 5♦ river. Piekazewicz bet 605,000, leaving around 150,000 behind, and Skerl mucked his hand.

Baker fired out a bet of 100,000 when the flop came Q♦8♦3♦, Gonzalez called. Both players checked the 5♦ turn, and Baker fired out a bet of 500,000 on the Q♥ river.

Gonzalez took a few moments before he made the fold.
