Paur Puts Brannan on Notice

Taylor Paur raised it up in early position and Frank Brannan reraised to 4,000 in the cutoff. The action was back on Paur who called to see a flop of 1076.

Paur checked to Brannan who continued with a bet of 3,500. Paur check-raised to 11,000 and Brannan called. The K landed on the turn and both players checked to the 10 on the river. Paur splashed in a bet of 24,000 and Brannan's cards instantly hit the muck.

Stein Pushes Rogers Out of Pot

Michael Stein raised to 1,200 preflop from the cutoff and David Rogers called on the button.

After the flop came 433, Rogers continued with 11,500 chips. Stein again called.

On the turn of the A, Rogers fired 21,000 chips at Stein, who promptly raised all in with a covering stack.

Rogers, who had just a little over 25,000 remaining, thought about it before laying his hand down.

Laskowitz Rivers a Pair

Samuel Laskowitz opened to 1,400 and got two callers in Kejun Wang on the button and Ryosuke Ikari in the big blind.

The flop came K97. After a check, Laskowitz continued with 1,300 and got Wang to call. Ikari folded his hand.

On the turn 2, Laskowitz kept the pressure with 8,000 and once again Wang called.

On the river 10, Laskowitz slowed down with a check. Wang shoved all-in and Laskowitz didn't hesitate to call.

Wang turned over A9 and Laskowitz showed J10. Wang had only 2,700 left and was eliminated a few hands later.

Matthias Lipp bet 2,300 on a flop of 266 with a pot of around 4,000. His heads-up opponent Daniel Hood called to see the next street.

The turn 4 dropped and Lipp fired another 7,500. Hood raised to 24,000 sending Lipp to the tank. He took a few seconds to consider his options but ultiamtely folded his hand.

Hood showed him 1010 before scooping the pot.

Placey Takes From Lyons Back to Back

There were roughly 16,000 chips in the pot on K4102J. Placey bet 13,000 from the small blind, Patrick Lyons said "I hope you dont have ace-queen", and called.

Placey tabled AQ for the nut straight, Lyons said "you get so lucky against me".

The very next hand:

Lyons raised in the in the hijack to 1,300, Peter Placey called in the big blind.

Lyons decided to bet 2,100 when the flop came 4J5, Placey check-called. The action did not slow down on the 7 turn as Lyons bet again for 3,300, Placey check-called. The 3 saw Lyons empty a third barrel for 7,300, Placey quickly called.

Lyons tabled queen-high with Q10, and Placey tabled top pair with J10, and took another pot from Lyons.

Cowen Doubles to a Big Stack

Quan Zhou raised to 1,300 from under the gun and Robert Cowen just called on his left. Marius Gierse was next to act and made it 5,900. The action folded back to Zhou who just called but Cowen shipped all in for 54,700. Gierse asked for a count and then called which got Zhou to lay his hand down.

The flop came 932 and Zhou banged the table after noticing that he folded the only pair. However, the Q on the turn gave Cowen the lead with a pair of queens. The river was the 2 and Cowen doubled up to an early big stack.

Chiu Bombs the Flop

Lachezar Petkov opened to 1,300 in early position and Chris Brewer three-bet to 3,500 on the button. Kim Chiu flat-called in the blinds and Petkov came along as well.

The flop fell Q102 and Chiu threw in a bet of 10,000. Petkov laid his hand down and Brewer's cards quickly followed into the muck.

Wang Sends Acevedo to Second Bullet

Yuzhu Wang raised under the gun to 16,500 preflop. Michael Acevedo moved all in over the top with 39,300 chips.

Wang immediately made the call with a bigger stack.

Acevedo said he was definitely going to win the hand before the flop of 7A8 quelled his enthusiasm. The turn and river of 79 didn't make a difference, as he was knocked out of the event and sent to the app to fire another bullet.
