Correa Calls Cook for Chop
Level 3
: Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
There was 21,000 in the middle with a board reading J♣9♦4♣J♦ and early position player James Cook bet out for 12,000. His only opponent in the hand, Jacques Correa Ortega, didn't take too long before calling.
The river 7♥ completed the board, and Cook didn't slow down, as he chucked in a green T-25,000 chip. Correa Ortega went deep into the tank, taking about four minutes to come to a decision. Eventually, he stuck in the call.
Cook showed J♠10♠ for trips, and Correa Ortega triumphantly slammed down J♥10♦ as the two chopped the pot.
