Nakai Climbs Higher
Level 3
: Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Ryuta Nakai raised to 1,100 from early position, which Erik Baum and Glenn Cozen called from the cutoff and big blind.
The action checked through on a J♦6♦3♣ flop, but Nakai picked his betting lead back up on the 9♣ turn, with a bet of 2,100. Baum called, but Cozen folded.
The 10♣ completed the board, and Nakai fired 8,000 into the pot. That was enough to see Baum cede, as he folded his hand.
