Rundquist Nuts on Turn
Level 4
: Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
Tianshi Hu opened to 1,100 under the gun. Ovakim Kanondzhyan flatted on his direct left, and Navid Saberin did the same from the hijack. Kristopher Rundquist then moved all in for 12,200 from the cutoff, and Hu rejammed, covering the table. Both Kanondzhyan and Saberin laid their cards down, with the latter showing 2♦2♠
Kristopher Rundquist: 10♣9♣
Tianshi Hu: A♠K♠
The 4♣7♦6♠ flop afforded some extra outs to Rundquist, which he then hit as the 8♦ turn improved him to the nuts, and secured his double. Nothing could save Hu, as the 10♥ river was nothing but a formality.
