McKelvey Pressures on the Flop; Koch Mucks to Pommier

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Players were three-ways on the KJ4 flop with a pot of around 4,000 and Eric Berman bet 2,400 from the big blind. Richard McKelvey raised to 7,200 from the hijack and Brandon Mitchell folded on the button. It took Berman a little longer to make the fold, but he eventually handed McKelvey the pot.

In the next hand on the same table Mitchell opened from the cutoff, and Russell Koch raised to 1,700 from the small blind. Christophe Pommier called from the big blind, as did Mitchell and the players went three-ways to the 9K6 flop.

Koch bet out 3,100 and only Pommier made the call. A 8 turn was checked by both to see the 8 river and Koch checked. Pommier asked for 5,000 and Koch flicked in a chip to call.

Pommier showed KJ for two pair, and Koch was left to muck his hand.
