Calenzo Fares Well
Level 3
: Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Hassan Fares opened from middle position and Kevin Calenzo raised to 3,500 from the small blind. Fares called, and the players were dealt the Q♥K♥J♦ flop.
Both opted to check to the 9♥ turn and Calenzo checked again. Fares bet 3,500 and Calenzo called to get to the 4♣ river.
Both checked to showdown and Calenzo turned over his K♠J♠ for a pair of tens which was enough to make his opponent muck without showing his hand.
