Weisner Takes from Washio
Level 4
: Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
Players were three-ways on the A♠4♥7♣ flop with a pot of around 4,000. Melanie Weisner bet 1,200 from under the gun after being checked to by Ronald Spriggs in the small blind and Takuma Washio in the big blind.
Only Washio called, and the pair saw the 6♥ river. Action was checked by both to the 2♦ river and again to showdown and Weisner showed 9♣9♦ for a pair of nines. Washio tabled his 8♦7♦ for a pair of sevens having missed his turned straight draw.
