Gregg Holds with Nines
Level 6
: Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
The pot stood at around 3,000, and players were heads-up and looking at a 3♥3♠7♥ flop.
Kevin Eyster bet 2,700 from the small blind, and he was called by James Gregg from late position. The K♥ was turned, and Eyster bet 7,000. He was quickly called by Gregg to see the 10♠ complete the board.
Action checked to showdown, and Eyster flipped over his 8♣7♣ for two pair, sevens and treys, but Gregg turned over his 9♠9♣ for a better two pair, which was good to take down the pot.
