Porcino Calls Down Martinelli
Level 10
: Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Fabio Porcino bet 7,000 from the button on a flop of J♦K♣8♥ and Luke Martinelli raised to 28,000 in early position. Porcino called.
The turn was the 2♠ and Martinelli bet another 40,000. Porcino again called, and the 9♦ fell on the river. Martinelli slowed down and checked, and Porcino quickly checked back.
Martinelli turned over 9♠8♠ for two pair, but Porcino had K♦J♥ for kings and jacks to win the pot.
